MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2008
Morgan Abel, a 5’7” green-eyed brunette, is the 17-year-old daughter of Pete and Sarah Abel of North Vernon. A student at Jennings County High School, Morgan is a member of S.A.D.D. and Peers Educating Peers. Her ambition is to graduate from high school and attend Indiana University to become a reconstructive surgeon who practices at Riley Children’s Hospital. Morgan enjoys singing, boating, viewing NASCAR events, volunteering and attending sprint car races with her family.
Crowned by Miss Indiana Teen USA 2007, Victoria Tomlinson, Morgan Abel will represent the Hoosier state at the annual MISS TEEN USA Pageant in 2008.
The balance of the “Top 5” were: First Runner-up, Hannah Clingan of Covington; Second Runner-up, Emilee Hayden of Newburgh; Third Runner-up, Jayla Lawrence of Anderson; and Fourth Runner-up, Brittany Hood of Fort Wayne. The Semi-Finalists were: Presley Roy of Jamestown, Leah Worlie of Crown Point, Cezanne Otter of Bloomington, Khloe Presnell of Morgantown, Lauren Welch of Georgetown, Jackie Parks of Greenwood, Jessica Karle of Crawfordsville, Bethany Myers of Peru, Stephanie Skertich of Munster, and Lauren Mastey of Crown Point.
Lauren Carter of Franklin was named Miss Photogenic and Leah Worlie was also voted Miss Congeniality.
