MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2012

Mackenzie Surber is the 5’7", hazel-eyed daughter of Mike Surber and LuAnn Burke. Mackenzie resides in Cicero, Indiana. She attends Hamilton Heights High School and is a varsity cheerleader, a member of the tennis team and SADD Club Member. Her future goal is to become an air traffic controller. She believes one of her strongest talents is her ability to perform well under pressure. Mackenzie’s favorite hobbies include playing tennis, tumbling and boating. The social cause most important to her is Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness. She is an advocate of not allowing peer pressure to influence one’s decisions. Mackenzie describes herself as positive, ambitious and compassionate.

Crowned by Jessica Buch, MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2011, Mackenzie will represent Indiana at the MISS TEEN USA® 2012 Pageant.

The remainder of the “Top 5” included:  First Runner-up Abigail Luther of Granger, Second Runner-up Madison Boldry of Kokomo, Third Runner-up Mariah Scott of Dupont and Fourth Runner-up Allison Walter of Avon. 

The Semi-finalists were: Jennifer Nance of Nobelsville, Shoshana Zacharias of Dyer, Allyssa Ortel of Shelbyville, Peyton Alexander of Indianapolis, Elizabeth Stivers of Scottsburg, Katelyn Marak of Valparaiso, Katelyn Bertling of Fishers, Alexandra Harris of Bloomington, Victoria Scheller of Carmel and Calista McGinsie of New Palestine.

Mackenzie Surber was named Miss Photogenic and Caitlyn Gross of Columbus was voted Miss Congeniality.
