MISS INDIANA USA® 2009
Courtni Hall, a 5’5” brown eyed brunette, is the 22-year-old daughter of Barbara Hall of Crawfordsville. A senior at Indiana State University, Courtni’s career ambition is to obtain her Masters degree in Communications and to work in the entertainment industry as a television personality. Courtni is a spokesperson for Children’s Hope International and serves as an advocate for adoption, as she was adopted from India at just five months old. Her hobbies include singing, traveling, acting and volunteering as a Spanish tutor.
The balance of the “Top 5” were: First Runner-up, Jessica Billings of Notre Dame, Second Runner-up, Allison Biehle of North Vernon; Third Runner-up, Melyssa Ramos of Fort Wayne and Fourth Runner-up, Tiffany Lynn Mack of Cayuga. The Semi-Finalists were: Ashley Morgan Wilcher of Brownsburg; Lauren Melvin of Indianapolis; Emily Elizabeth Dawson of Indianapolis; Katie Fondrisi of New Albany; and Katie Rayl of Kokomo.
Courtni Hall was also named Miss Photogenic, and Christy Stallings of Seymour was voted Miss Congeniality.
Crowned by Brittany Mason, Miss Indiana USA 2008, Courtni represented the Hoosier state at the annual MISS USA Pageant, which was broadcast live on NBC Television on April 19, 2009 from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
